DIY White Frostea

DIY White Frostea recipe pictures I’ve mentioned a couple times that I pass several Starbucks on my way to work each day. Well, I also pass 2 Argo Teas. It’s just too much! If the Starbucks doesn’t lure me in, Argo is bound to. I drooled over a sign in the window for a few days…White Frostea. Finally I gave in to temptation.

Word can’t even describe how good this tea was. I’ve always been a tea lover, but this was beyond anything I had ever tried before. I literally walked into the office and made one of my friends try a sip so that we could discuss the minty goodness together. It’s like minty hot chocolate…except that it’s tea! When I came home that night I told my roommate that I went to Argo. It just so happens that she had gone also and she tried and loved the White Frostea too. Sometimes we read each other’s minds.

I loved the White Frostea so much that is was a no-brainer that we had to recreate it. Our DIY version was really good, but in all honesty not quite as good as Argo. I decided to use fresh mint to infuse the water but I am wondering if peppermint white chocolate bark would have been better. I am going to try that next and I will update this post.

Either way…I plan on making this tea all the time!

I’ve never heard of Argo Tea before…we only have Starbucks here in New Brunswick and crappy Au Bon Pain Coffee/Teas so I am mad jelly about this white frostea! I consider myself a newbie with teas but this sounds delightful and so festive :) yum!

Thanks for the recipe! I live in Los Angeles. Every time I go to Chicago a White Frostea from Argo Tea is a must. It is the best hot drink I’ve ever had and I miss it so much! Thanks for writing about how wonderful it is and sharing your recipe. I will definitely give it a try!

I am not a big tea drinker, but I felt compelled to try this recipe, because I am a big white chocolate fan. I am so glad I did. this is an amazing drink that I am now totally gaga over. However, I didn’t have mint leaves or plain white tea so I just used peppermint tea I had on hand. It was fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe!
