Blue Moonsicles and A Giveaway!

Believe it or not today is our 100th post. It seems like yesterday that Kara and I were toying with the idea of starting this blog, then just like that we went for it. When we first went live we were glued to our computers. We saw our traffic increase slowly… very slowly… in single digits! Everyone that looked was a close friend or family member. But Cliff worked hard to get our name out there and slowly but surely we became famous. Ok ok not quite famous. But we are on the brink of big time fame! 😉 We actually celebrated at a local tavern when we finally got a visitor from every state.

One of our most popular recipes to date is Corona Popsicles, it might actually be our most popular one. I’ll have to get back to you after I check the numbers. It’s funny because those pops are BY FAR the easiest recipe we have. Basically our readers like EASY and if the recipe just so happens to contain alcohol in it, well that doesn’t seem to hurt either. Dually noted guys!

So to celebrate our 100th post here on livelovepasta we’re posting one of Cliff’s new favorite creations, Blue Moonsicles! Oh yea, we are also hosting our first giveaway!!! These Blue Moonsicles are just as easy as the Corona Pops, but taste wayyy better. That’s what Cliff says anyway, and I believe him. He began to devour one immediately after shooting the final shot and could not stop praising them. I don’t like beer but I am still hoping to make Grey Goosicles!

We are sooo proud and happy to have done 100 posts. Looking back on everything, I think we are most surprised in how much actual work and dedication there goes into running a blog. Regardless of how hard it may seem at times for us, it is a random comment we receive from one of our readers, a “like” on our Facebook page or a new follower on Twitter that really makes us appreciate everything.

Start by slicing an orange

Now pour some Blue Moon into your popsicle molds

You can put slices of orange in, or you can squeeze in some orange juice

Ok that's it! Phew, that was hard work! Pop those in the freezer.
