Did you guys watch the Oscars? Who did you think was best dressed? More importantly, who was worst dressed? I can hear the coverage on in the background but I have not seen any of the dresses yet. I am going to make this quick so I can judge all the actresses for their choice of dress. I could care less who wins or who loses. I just want to see what they wear. Does anyone really care who wins?
We made these beer cheese breadsticks because I love bread and cheese and Cliff loves beer. Good compromise, right? The only thing I would change about this recipe is that it wasn’t cheesy enough for me. I increased the amount of cheese in the ingredients below. Otherwise, can you really go wrong with beer, bread, and cheese? I didn’t think so.
Here is what you’ll need
Roll out the dough and brush with butter
Sprinkle with garlic
And cheese
Cut into strips and serve with marinara for dipping
Ingredients
1 batch beer pizza dough- see here
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 clove garlic, minced
8 ounces mozzarella, shredded
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
marinara sauce for dipping
Directions
Prepare dough as instructed. Flour your surface and roll the dough into a 16 inch circle. Transfer to pizza stone or pizza pan. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Heat marinara sauce for dipping. Slice bread horizantally once. Then make 8 vertical cuts so that the pizza is now cut into breadsticks. Serve with dipping sauce.
