Chocolate Cake Shake

I’d say sorry for posting such a sinful recipe…but really I’m not sorry. Not even a little bit. It’s just too good!

Kara, Cliff and I have all grown up with Portillos in our lives. For those of you that are not familiar with Ports, you are missing out. Surprisingly enough I have never had their Chocolate Cake Shake before. I have, however, had their chocolate cake so I had an inkling that the shake would be…amazeballs.

We tried a homemade version and oh.em.gee. It was out of this world amazing! It was rich so we made 1 serving and divided it into 3 cups, it was perfect. I probably could have enjoyed the whole shake myself though, if given the chance.

This recipe took all of 5 minutes to make, we bought an individual slice of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting from Marianos. A Chocolate Cake Shake is a nice and fast treat for when you need one. And the ice cream is nice for when (IF EVER) it gets warm. :)

Here’s what you’ll need

In a bowl add a few scoops of ice cream and 2 tbsps milk. You can add more milk later, depending on thickness

Now add a handful of chocolate cake pieces

Use an immersion blender to blend

Garnish with a couple more cake pieces…then dig in!!
