Apple Peanut Butter Granola Bites

Apple Peanut Butter Granola Bites 5

School has started around here. I went to the grocery store yesterday and it was a madhouse. I was walking down the aisles and it was full of families picking up supplies for school lunches. Every few minutes a family would see someone they knew and ask, “Are you ready for tomorrow?” I was ready for them to get out of my grocery store because they were moving way too slow for me. I am an in and out kinda girl. I have my list, I get my stuff, and I get out of there. Not yesterday though. It was a zoo.

I saw this recipe a few weeks ago and I thought it would make a great snack. For those times when you are hungry but not hungry enough to eat a whole meal. I am a huge fan of apples and peanut butter and this takes the concept 3 steps further by adding granola, cinnamon, and chocolate. This is a fantastic snack for after school or work or breakfast or before bed. Really, any time will do. Plus these are all pantry staples. I used granny smith apples but you could use whatever kind you have on hand. I always have apples, peanut butter, granola and chocolate chips on hand. To make this a little healthier you could absolutely use natural peanut butter.
