In honor of the holidays we are giving away 2 sets of cookie stencils to one lucky reader. 1 is snowflakes and the other is Valentine’s day themed. I think of all the Christmas traditions we have, making cookies is my favorite. I have been getting together with the same group of friends since the second grade to make cookies. It just wouldn’t be Christmas without Christmas cookies! My cookie trays this year will definitely have some of these cookies on them.
Kelly and I saw these stencil at a baking show we went to a few weeks ago and we fell in love. We figured if we loved them, then out readers would too. We used royal icing to glaze the cookies. Once dry we stenciled the pattern on each cookie. Make sure that the glaze is fully dry and that the royal icing for the stencil is extra thick. Wash the stencil after every application. We also added sprinkles to some. They turned out super cute and it was easy. Even we could do it! The stencils can also be used on fondant and to make a cocoa powder design on the whipped cream atop your hot chocolate. See the rules below to enter.
