Bocce Balls

Bocce Ball Drinks 4

Well, it is officially freezing in Chicago. Usually, that is a bad thing. After all who likes the cold? Not me. But in this case, it is a very good thing. Cliff was the first to get the call that work had been cancelled. I told him how pathetic and unnecessary it was until I got my call. No work. Thank God. Kelly pouted for a few hours until she got her call too. No work all around. I can’t speak for everyone else but I’ll be laying on the couch sipping a hot drink and counting down the days til we leave for Mexico. Also known as too many days from now. AKA May 10 can’t come soon enough.

Until we hit the sunny beaches we will just have to make do with our own cocktails. I do not drink. However, I do make an exception for bocce balls. My fave drink. I never say no to a bocce ball. I have no idea if there are other names for this drink but we have always called them bocce balls. I often cook with amaretto because, well, it is delicious. If you are having a extreme weather day today, make yourself a bocce ball!
