In case you have not noticed we are way into Southern cooking lately. Biscuits, barbeque, hush puppies; we love it all! I really know nothing about Southern traditions or cooking. BUT, I know what I like to eat. I love barbeque and buttery, flaky breads. Who doesn’t? And lucky for us there are a million blogs out there with authentic Southern recipes for us to try. If you have any recommendations let us know!
Up until a couple of years ago the only experience I had with biscuits was Pilsbury. Now, I still use these for monkey bread but I do not use them for actual biscuits! Now, I can make my own. These are not too hard to do and the results are definitely worth the effort. These biscuits have feta, chives, and sour cream added. It is really taking biscuits to another level. One trick I’ve used in making these is to grate the butter instead of cubing it. It makes it much, much easier to cut into the dry ingredients. It will save your arm a lot of work. These biscuits are just delicious fresh out of the oven. I recommend eating them while they are hot!

Here is what you’ll need

Combine the dry ingredients

Add the butter

Combine the egg and sour cream

Add it to the dry ingredients

Fold in the feta and chives

Cut into round biscuits

Sprinkle with paprika and bake

Perfection!
