There is little I enjoy more than a spa day. Does every girly girl agree? I love the smells and the relaxation and most of all the pampering.
I can’t have spa days very often because…let’s face it….that would break the bank. Instead, I like to indulge in spa days at home as much as possible. Hair masks, face masks, etc.
One of the most important parts about an at home spa day is setting the mood. It just would not be a spa day without some candles, calming music and relaxing aromas. In the past, I have regularly used this rosewater scented Face Mist because it is so so refreshing. But I decided to try and make my own face mists and quickly discovered that they are a piece of cake! Love them!

Here’s how to make it
- First, fill the bottles 2/3 full with distilled water.
- Then a few drops of either lavender or rose water/witch hazel.

These are so spa-like!

Refreshing DIY Face Mist
Ingredients
- 2 oz glass spray bottles
- distilled water
- lavender oil
- witch hazel
- rose water
Instructions
- For the Rosewater Spray: Fill bottle 1/3 of the way with distilled water. For the next 1/3, add a mixture of witch hazel and rose water. Top off with distilled water. We added a little extra rosewater because I love the smell so much.
- For the Lavender Spray: Fill bottle 3/4 with distilled water. Add several drops of lavender oil and top off with more distilled water. You want the water to dillute the oil. Lavender oil is potent, you will be able to smell it even when adding only a small amount.
Notes
Adjust the ingredients proportionately if you use larger spray bottles.
